The Clouded Leopard originates from East India, Indochina, and northeastern to southern China. Their population is the best in Borneo Because of the lack of Tigers and Leopards. Clouded Leopards tend to live in rainforests but can also be found in other types of forests.
Clouded Leopards have large paws which help them climb trees. They also have long canine teeth, which are longer in proportion to skull size than any other wild cat. They have a medium stature, with short legs and a long tail. Their coats are brown or a yellow-gray covered with unusual stripes, spots and blotches.
Clouded Leopars have a different bone structure in their neck so they can neither roar or purr. Instead they hiss, growl and chuff.
Clouded Leopards eat small primates, deer and wild boar. They also eat birds and rodents. Because they are skilled climbers they are able to ambush from the trees. Although the Clouded Leopard is small it is able to take down larger prey with the help of its strong legs, long canines and wide mouth.
